Shell Beach is a pn — a legally designated protected area in Guyana, covering about 1,191 km², established in 2011. Administered at the nacional level. What is permitted inside depends on the category — strict reserves allow almost nothing, national forests and extractive reserves allow managed use — so a detection here is a reason to look, not a verdict.
